Terry Lee Lewis

Terry Lee Lewis, age 63, of Owens, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Brownwood. A visitation for Terry will be held from 6-8PM on Thursday, February 17, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. The family will host a memorial service at 2pm on February 18th at New Beginnings Church in Brownwood.

Terry was born on May 19, 1958 to Hazel and Theodore Lewis in Midland. He worked as a brick mason for many years before becoming disabled. He always dreamed of getting to lay brick or rock again. Terry loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed drinking a couple cold ones while listening to the Brownwood Lions, and May Tigers football games with his brother, Jerry.

Terry is survived by his father, Lee Lewis; 3 sons, Monty Lewis and wife Lily Maxwell of Brownwood, Ronnie Lewis and wife Sarah of Camas Washington, and Michael Lewis of Stephenville; siblings, Kristie Lewis and husband Shane McClain, Cherie Lewis and husband Will Westerman, Jerry Lewis, Ryan Kight, all of Owens, and Tami Belveal of Fairfield; 4 grandchildren, Trinity, Daniel, Violet, and Jackson; nieces and nephews, Shylan McClain and Dustin Crum, Trenton Shirk and Brooklyn Elliot, Bryson Shirk, Brandon and Ariel Lewis, Dustan and Jewel Martin, and Greyson Westerman. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Lewis; maternal grandparents, Cleo Bead and C.C. Floyd; paternal grandparents, Bessie Mae and Jean Lewis, numerous cousins and friends.
