Betty Rose Tillery

Betty Rose Tillery, age 64, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at a local nursing home.

Funeral Services for Betty will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Betty was born June 25, 1957, to Clarence Sr. and Artie May (James) Watson in Abilene. She was a member of New Beginnings Church. Betty was a very, very, very loving and giving person. She loved making tie-dyed shirts and crafting, she was very creative.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Jodi Watson of Ft. Worth; 2 sons, Johnny Tillery of Freeport and Daniel Tillery of Brownwood; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Reba Smith and husband Robert of Brownwood, Mary White of Brownwood, Shirley Snyder of Cameron, Pat Laneave and husband Linnie of Missouri, and Linda Harris of Cameron; 1 brother, Clarence Watson Jr. and wife Kathleen of Cameron; special nieces, Sylvia and Kristi; and special friend, Brandy Watkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters, Emma Louise Watson and Brenda Sue Clark.
