The Brownwood Lady Lions will head to the playoffs as the fourth seed from District 6-4A following Tuesday night’s 55-23 loss to Stephenville in the regular season finale.

The loss snapped a two-game win streak for the Lady Lions (20-13, 3-5), who will face District 5-4A top seed Graham (15-16, 8-2) in the bi-district round of the playoffs next week at a time and site to be determined. The Lady Lions picked up a 37-30 road victory over Graham on Jan. 4.

Stephenville (24-9, 7-1) clinched a share of the district championship with Glen Rose with the win, as it led Brownwood 20-7 after one quarter, 30-16 at halftime and 41-21 through three frames.

Tessa Goodwin led Brownwood with 11 points while Jaylen Savage and Mady Pyle added six each.
