The Early Longhorns and Lady Horns finished first in six weight classes and second in another at the Hico powerlifting meet earlier this week.

Winning their respective weight classes were Brooks Clippinger in the 220s for the Longhorns, and Lady Horns Hannah Middleton in the 114s, Alexa Hernandez in the 123s, Miranda Castanuela in the 132s, Danielle Alcorta in the 148s, and Alyne Celedon in the 181s.

Lady Horn Juliane Socong placed second in the 114s.
