The Bangs Dragons put forth a solid effort at the recent Hico powerlifting meet, earning six top three finishes.

Ian Cortez won the boys 165-pound weight class and was named the top lightweight lifter.

Coming in second were Noah Pin in the boys 208s, Rylie Guerrero in the girls 123s, and Lindsay Campos in the girls 132.

Finishing third were Jonas Powell in the boys 198s, and Shumara Finley in the girls 220s.
