Brown County Commissioners met Monday morning with commissioner Joel Kelton presiding over the meeting.  Short in duration, there were no citizen comments, no auditor’s report, no action taken on the Burn Ban which means the Brown County Burn Ban remains in place.  Commissioners received an update on COVID-19 from Lisa Dick of the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department.  Most recent numbers show 18 hospitalizations as of late Friday.  Commissioners also approved a request from Sheriff Vance Hill to contract with Lone Star Commissary for the County Jail.
