Wanda Nell Stark, age 69, loving wife, mother, and Granny, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Wanda was born on January 5, 1952, to Barney and Virginia Ruth (Fisher) Lee in May, Texas. She met the love of her life, Weldon Stark, as a teenager and they were married on November 27, 1970. For the next 51 years she resided in Brownwood alongside her best friend as they raised their two children, Alan and Andrea.

Her life was defined by selfless and tireless encouragement, strength, friendship, and kindness that she gave to anyone who crossed her path for even one day. She quietly loved in a loud way with a servant’s heart, cared deeply for her family and friends, and served her community in numerous capacities throughout her life.

Wanda will be missed greatly by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband, Weldon Stark of Brownwood; their two children and spouses, Alan and Corley Stark of Plano, and Andrea and Jeff Ingram of Dallas; three grandchildren, Caroline, Augusta, and Henry; siblings, Sonny Lee, Bill Lee, and Betty Roberts; sister-in-law, Donna Lee, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. To Wanda, her friends were also family, and she is survived by many who loved her the same.

She was preceded in death by her father, Barney Lee; and her mother, Virginia Ruth Lee.

Celebration of Life for Wanda will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
