Anita Stone Inlow

Anita Stone Inlow, 86, of Brownwood, passed away, Tuesday, January 4, 2022. At Anita’s request, there will be a private family memorial at a later date.

Anita Stone Inlow was born May 4, 1935 at Birmingham, AL. She attended Auburn University and received a degree in Education. She married Michael E. Stone in Birmingham and began a life together that blessed then with four children. Anita moved to Brownwood in 1967. She was a teacher at Northwest Elementary for many years. After leaving teaching, she enjoyed traveling the world. She obtained her scuba certification in the Red Sea among more adventures. In her retirement years, Anita was an entrepreneur at heart starting exciting business’ and enjoying her time on the ranch. Her adventurous spirit lives on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Donna Crow and husband Jim; two sons, Eddie Stone & Michael Stone and wife, Gwen; grandchildren, Taylor Crow, Colbie Crow, Tanner Crow, Ryan Aguirre and wife Sierra, Jeremy Stone and wife Elizabeth, Sheldon Stone, Grayson Stone, Mikah Stone Walls and spouse Kyler Walls; 4 great grandchildren, Waylon Stone, Kensley Stone, Sawyer Walls and Hudson Walls; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anita was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Aguirre; and her husbands, Michael Stone and Thomas Inlow.
