Harold “Popeye” Graham

Harold “Popeye” Graham, age 64, of Bronte, died Friday, December 24, 2021, at his residence.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donna Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Talpa Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born Harold Hamilton Graham on May 12, 1957, in Centreville, Mississippi to Harvey William Graham and Rena Louella Green Graham. Harold grew up in Menard, Texas and graduated from Menard High School in 1975. He married Lorretta Monroe on November 17, 1978, in Talpa. With this union came two sons, John and Landon. Harold was a field operator for Marathon Oil Company.

Harold enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman. After moving to Bronte, Harold and Lorretta loved living on their land and entertaining their family. He was a member of the Ft. San Saba Masonic Lodge # 784. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Harold will be deeply missed.

Preceding Harold in death are his father, Harvey William Graham; one sister, Rena Osburn; and one brother, Wayne Graham.

He is survived by his wife, Lorretta Graham of Bronte; his sons, John Graham and wife Ashley of Bronte, and Landon Graham and wife Kallie of Midland; his grandchildren, Kyler, Lexi, Jarold, Hunter, Kamdyn, Calista, and Carli; his mother, Rena Louella Hardin of Ozona; one sister, Drucilla Mitchell and husband Arvin of Ozona; and one brother, Carroll Graham.
