James L. “Bunny” Miller, age 72, of Brownwood went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Funeral Services for Bunny will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

James was born on July 20, 1949, to Archie and Edna (Wilborn) Miller in Brownwood. His mother gave him the nickname, “Bunny”, when he was a toddler and it stuck throughout his whole life.

Bunny ate, slept, and breathed farming; he was every definition of the word farmer. He farmed his whole life and took pride in being a custom farmer. When he wasn’t farming, he worked on the tractors or tinkered in his shop. He also enjoyed spending his time with his family.

Bunny is survived by his children, Amy Davis of Albany, Bobby Davis of Stockdale, TX, Jake Davis of Brownwood, Roger Cornelius and wife Becca of Bangs, Terrie Cornelius of Brownwood, Donna Harper and husband John of Brownwood; 9 grandchildren, Chelsea Jackson, Tana Elliot, Chase Harper, Karly Harper, Ryan Harper, Jessica Nikolauk, Madison Davis, Destiny Sharp, and Zander Bible; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Royce Miller and wife Sindy of Bangs, Jack Miller and wife Shirley of Zephyr, Lee Miller and wife Paula of Richland Springs; 2 sisters, Christy Storey of Early, Cara Foster of Port Aransas; his beloved pets, Jax, Little Dog, Girl Dog, and Mama Kitty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Miller; parents, Archie and Edna Miller; 2 sisters, Dorothy Shore and Karen Dotson; and 2 brothers, Tommy and Gene Miller.

Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
