Jerry Lester, age 81, of Coleman, Texas passed from this life to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:39 pm at Holiday Hill Nursing Home.
Services will be Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Barron officiating. Services are under the care of Henderson Funeral Home Staff.
Jerry was born June 26, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas to John Alexander and Elsie Nina Mitchell Lester. He was raised in Lubbock where he attended Lubbock ISD. On June 20, 1967 Jerry married his loving wife Christine Lopez in Lubbock, Texas and they celebrated 54 years of marriage. Christina preceded him in death. Jerry enjoyed playing his guitar and sharing his music with his many friends. He has been a resident of Coleman since 2005 moving here from Weatherford. Jerry was a member of the Baptist Church and a Floortech.
Survivors include 5 Daughters – Janet Lester of Amarillo, TX, Belinda & husband Paul Wisenbaker of Conroe, TX, Sharon Terrell of Clyde, TX, Pamela & husband Harvey Ramirez of Coleman, TX, Kimberly Turner of Woodlands, TX; 2 Sons – Joel Lester of Amarillo, TX, Jason & wife Kimberly Lester of Weatherford, TX; 12 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandsons.
Jerry was preceded in death by 2 Sisters & 5 Brothers.
