Mary Jo ‘JoJo’ Rahn Womack

Mary Jo Rahn Womack, affectionally known by her family as JoJo and Granny passed away November 21, 2021 in Brownwood, Texas. Mary Jo was born December 5, 1950 in Vernon, Texas to Guy E. Rahn, Sr and Wanda Alene (Jordy) Rahn.

JoJo was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. During her years not only did she love raising her children and grandchildren but she even took in and raised others until her death. She loved playing the piano and played the piano for many years for the Early First Baptist Church. She was now a member of the Shiloh Bible Church. After her retirement from Johnson-Ross Company she loved to travel with her husband Wayne and her sisters and going to the casinos to hear the “cha ching” of occasionally winning.

JoJo is survived by her husband of 31 years Thomas Wayne Womack of Brownwood; her children Barry Modawell and wife Sunni of Brownwood, Rhonda Cowan and husband Delton of Elm Grove, and Wes Modawell and wife Shana of Abilene; her brothers and sisters James P. Johnston and wife Barbara, Peggy Johnson, Vicki Lotspeich, Carolyn Ames, Billie Hammond, Sherrie Lotz, Paul (Mike) Rahn and wife Faye, Guy Edward (Eddie) Rahn Jr and wife Julie, and Charles (Chuck) Weeks and wife Amy. She was proud grandmother of Kellye, Brittni, Sky, Kali, Cody, Tana and Caleb and a great grandma of 6, plus numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Slaymaker officiating, interment will follow in the Goldthwaite Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
