Linda June Bedell, age 73, of Navasota, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas.

The family will host a visitation on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

She was born Linda June Farris on October 3, 1948, in Coleman to A.J. “Jake” Farris and Betty June Pennington Farris. She grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. Linda married Tommy Lynn Bedell in 1968 in Coleman. With this union came three children, Shane, Chris, and Yvette. Linda was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Linda’s entire world revolved around her family. Her number one priority was being a wife, mother, and finally a grandmother. In her younger years, she enjoyed waterskiing and riding her motorcycle. She loved playing with her grandchildren and taking them camping. Linda also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and going to concerts. She absolutely loved all types of music and would sing along with all the songs she listened to. Linda loved all animals and each of her pets had a special place in her home and heart. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her loving smile and famous laughter will be missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Betty June Farris, and her son, Shane Lynn Bedell.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tommy Lynn Bedell of Navasota; two children, Chris Shawn Bedell of Burleson and Yvette Cheri Bedell of Navasota; two grandchildren, Jordan Shaine Bedell of Burleson and Aidan Shane Bedell of Navasota; her sister, Sandra Jameson and husband Danny of Coleman; and her brother, Dennis Farris of Coleman.

Memorials are suggested in memory of Linda to the SPCA of Texas at www.spca.org or to the Pink Alliance at www.pinkalliance.org. Both organizations were dear to Linda.

Memories and condolences can be written to the family via the virtual guestbook at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bedell family.
