Tammie Mae Nye

Tammie Mae Nye, 56, of Bangs, Texas passed away on November 6, 2021. Tammie was born in Van Horn, Texas on July 29, 1965 to Gerald Wayne Heard and Linda Kaye Criswell Roberts. Tammie married John Nye on April 20, 1993. She was a homemaker and took care of her three children, Shayna, Devan and Jennifer. Tammie was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family, including her dog Blue and cat Marble that were just like her children. She enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, the lake and going to the beach whenever she could get there.

Tammie is survived by her husband John Nye; her mother Kaye Roberts, her daughter, Shayna and her husband Tyler Miller, their children MaKayla, MaKenzie, Matthew and Jackson; her son Devan and his children, Aaron, Mary, and Michael; her daughter Jennifer and her husband Cody Srader, their children, Kiersten, Jonathon, Eli, Noah, John, and Allison; her sister Kaynelle Cassle, brothers, Ed Parton, Veldon Parton, and Wesley and his wife Amanda Heard; as well as many other friends and family. Tammie was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Heard, her grandmothers Elsie Heard-Hartman and Flonelle Conkling and niece, Tasha Holloway.

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday November 18th, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Haven of Hope Church 1617 Main Blvd Brownwood, Texas.
