Thomas Wayne Fulcher, 73, of Blanket, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. A visitation with family will be held at Heartland Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, November 15, 2021 and a graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Eastlawn Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

Tommy was born January 13, 1948 in Harris County, Texas to Walter Thomas and Delia Fulcher Blankinship. He was raised with his six brothers and one sister by his mother and Raymond Blankinship. He attended school in Brownwood and graduated from Early High School. Tommy joined the U.S. Navy along with a couple of friends and spent the next four years serving his country. Tommy won awards boxing in the Navy and he was a champion Golden Glove boxer. He coached boxing at the Brownwood Jaycees. Tommy worked at Halliburton for a few years in Sonora, Texas and when the oil business went bad, he moved back home and worked as a carpenter and painted a lot of houses and businesses in this community. He loved to be on the lake in his boat fishing, water skiing and was known to hunt and snow ski. Tommy was a kind man who loved his family dearly. He would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help you in anyway. His favorite thing was spoiling his children and grandchildren. He was a Baptist and confessed Jesus Christ as his Saviour.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of several years, Donna Fulcher of Blanket; his daughter, Stefanie Inglet of White Settlement, Jennifer Matthews of Richland Springs, Lisa Trujillo of Goldthwaite; a niece whom was like a daughter, Christina Balleza of Brownwood; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Fulcher and wife Sherry, Lynn Fulcher and wife, Rindy; sister, Barbara Lorah and husband Robert; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by Delia and Raymond Blankinship; brothers, Jimmy Fulcher, Joe Fulcher and Michael Blankinship; grandparents, Virgil and Rosettie Pierce.
