The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Thursday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.
- Mathew Guerra aka Matthew Guerra pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Tampering with or Fabricating Evidence, and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Cody Ray Schaffer pled guilty to the felony offense of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Schaffer pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
- Elbert Turner pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 10 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
- Jeremy Moreno, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 9 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
