Louise Kretzschmar

Louise Kretzschmar, age 86, of May formerly of Adkins, Texas passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Abilene.

Private Services for Louise will be held on the family ranch Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Robert Garnett officiating. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Ella Louise was born on November 28, 1934, to Thomas Chester Anderson and Alma (Short) Anderson in San Antonio, Texas. Louise married Erwin Kretzschmar Jr. on August 9, 1967, in San Antonio. She worked in childcare for many years; she loved taking care of little kids. She loved playing dominoes with her family and friends.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to those she leaves behind to cherish memories of her. She leaves behind her husband, Erwin Kretzschmar of May; daughter, Judy Fisher and husband Allen of Brownwood; son, James Kretzschmar and wife Tracie of May; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Aaron and Cody Fisher; and sister, Eleanor Garnett of Wimberly. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alma Anderson; and brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Garnett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
