Carolyn Sue Taylor, age 76, of Bedford, Texas and formerly of Brownwood passed away at her home on Monday, October 18, 2021.

She was born November 24, 1944, in Brownwood, Texas, the daughter of George E. and Sammie (Hamerick) O’Neal. She graduated from high school and later attained some college credits. She was married to Harry Taylor, whom she deeply loved, in Brownwood on February 12, 1966. He preceded her in death in 2014. She worked as a customer service representative for the air freight industry. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She was known as a very good neighbor helping her neighbors in any way she could. She loved her yard and was very particular how it looked. She kept a very clean house believing that “Cleanliness was next to Godliness”. She loved to go to Windstar and enjoyed traveling. Her devotion was to her sons and their wives and her four grandchildren whom she cherished.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian Taylor and wife Nicole of Austin, and Todd Taylor and wife Amanda of Coppell. Her grandchildren including Sydney Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Payton Taylor and Madison Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Glenda.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 23 at Eastlawn Memorial Park Bro. Bill Slaymaker officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until 1:30 at Heritage Funeral Home, Davis-Morris Chapel in Brownwood.

Memorials are requested to be made to her favorite charity, Dream of Dreams Therapeutic Horsemanship (DADTH) 23650 Round Mountain Circle, Leander, Tx. 78641 (512) 260-5957.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Davis-Morris Chapel in Brownwood. Friends and family are encouraged to view the online memorial at www.heritagefuneraltx.com.
