The following information regarding Boo Bash – which will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 in downtown Brownwood – was provided Thursday afternoon by Travis Curry of Wonderland Productions, which is organizing the event:

Halloween will be upon us  soon and no stone will be left unturned or broom will be left unflown on this MAGICAL NIGHT …. So join with us,

Draco’s  Janitorial & Auto Detailing along with TexasBank  for the unveiling of  “Boo Bash 21” Brownwood’s  Inaugural Halloween Inspired event…

Hosted by Texas State  Jaycees President Charity Adams

BOO BASH

Will be in Historic Downtown Brownwood, Centered around Pat Coursey Park, corner of Center ave & Baker st… will go all out to help the nonprofits of Brown County.

So let the thrills, chills, boo’s and money flow begin….

Scheduled for October 30th from 6:30 to 1:00 a.m.  the event will feature a number of family friendly Halloween inspired activities for our area residents and guests to experience …

BOO BASH will be the first event of its kind because there will be several nonprofits represented, and  in attendance, taking donations, networking or  running one of the  several small activities throughout the event, proceeds from said small event will be going directly to a non-profit,  the Texas Jaycees and Texas  state Jaycees President Charity Adams will be collecting money all throughout the event for scholarships Honoring Brother Leslie Adams, to be awarded to  2  Brown County football athletes, at a later time, to go towards the  college of their choice.   scholarships will be in the MEMORY  and name of local football legend Leslie Adams …

“Work Hard, Stay Humble”

BOO BASH  will also be introducing Brownwood’s newest nonprofit, NAMI Texas of Greater Brownwood, dedicated to improving the quality of life of all individuals living with mental illness and their families. For more information, contact Elisabeth Barber at namitexasofgreaterbrownwood@gmail.com regarding the newest nonprofit; or Charity Adams about donating towards the scholarships

BOO BASH and Margaret Carter will also be doing a canned food drive to benefit  Feed the Need for Thanksgiving.

Here is a list of the items they will need….

Canned pumpkin

Canned cranberry sauce

Canned green beans

Canned yams

Dry potato flakes

Dry cornbread mix

Canned chicken or turkey broth

They will also be taking cash donations to purchase turkeys

Live entertainment by headliner CHLSY BAND, along with JoJo Fireee, The Cadillac Thieves and our 3 finalists of the Fall showcase auditions
