Davetta Medar Goins age 65 of Early, passed away on Sunday, October 10th, 2021. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 13th at Heartland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 14th at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Wolf Valley Cemetery in May.
Davetta was born on Monday, May 7, 1956 in Scottsburg, Indiana to David and Betty Conover. In 1980 she moved to Texas. Davetta was truly a, loving person and loved the Lord very much. She worked for the, Cross Country Care Center for many years in the laundry department before retiring, she was a, hard working women all of her life, always helping her family and others that needed anything. Davetta was a member of the Tabernacle of Faith Church in Brownwood.
Davetta is survived by her loving husband Gary Goins; two sons, Sammy Medar and Shawn Medar; brother Mark Conover; sister Linda Stambaugh and husband Larry; nephews, Armando Solis, Timothy Solis, Micheal Stambaugh, Daniel Stambaugh and Toby Conover; niece Laura Fry and husband Albert; great nephews, Robert Stambaugh, Weston Fry, Justin Fry, Galia Stambaugh, Gabriel Stambaugh and Christian Stambaugh; great nieces, Estrella Solis, Salina Solis and Isabella Solis; uncle Curtis Berge and wife Wavey.
She is preceded in death by her parents David and Betty Conover; son Micheal Ray Medar; and grandparents William and Estella Conover.
