Michelle Newman, age 52, of Coleman, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

She was born Nola Michelle Dobbins on March 26, 1969, in Coleman to Riley Eugene Dobbins and Vickey Barnett Dobbins. Michelle grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. After graduation, Michelle attended Brownwood Business College. She worked several years in the administration office at the Coleman County Medical Center. Michelle loved her family and friends and will be missed.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Riley Eugene Dobbins.

She is survived by her son, Riley Dakota Newman of Coleman; her mother, Vickey Barnett of Coleman; and many extended family members and friends.

A private interment will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
