Donna Murphy, age 77, of Brownwood passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, at Coleman Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held Monday, October 11, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel; private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Donna was born on October 17, 1943, to Richard and Elma (Buckley) Peysen in Dalhart. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1962. After high school, went to nursing school receiving her Bachelor of Science and became a Registered Nurse. She was an R.N. for 40 plus years.

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She loved horses, listening to music, and being in nature.

Donna is survived by her 2 daughters, Molly Murphy of Coleman, Sarah Moore and husband Jerry of Bangs; grandson, Vincent Murphy of Brownwood; great-grandson, Oliver Murphy; brother, David Peysen and wife Debbie; and ex-husband, Michael Murphy of Brownwood. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elma Peysen.
