Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Oct. 1

  • On Thursday, September 30, Lt. Pete Bastardo met with an individual at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center. This was in regards to terroristic threat. A report was generated, and a suspect was named.
  • On Thursday, September 30, a male was issued a trespass warning for Belfast at the request of the property owner.
  • On Thursday, September 30 at approximately 6:08 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was dispatched to the Early City Hall. This was in reference to an assault after the fact. An investigation was conducted.
  • On Thursday, September 30 deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Highway 279, where a female struck a male with a bat. Deputies located the two parties, who had already separated. The female was arrested for Aggravated Assault, for striking her husband with a softball bat.
  • On Thursday, September 30, Deputy Toby Mathis, took a report of Theft of Property. Jail staff reported a male stole a phone as he was being released from the Brown County Jail. A report was made.
  • On Friday, October 1, Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to a report of Criminal Mischief. A male reported his ex-wife hit his pickup window causing damage. A report was made.
