Representatives from Brookshire Grocery Co. and city officials of Brownwood will gather for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 to celebrate the Brookshire’s Food Store in Brownwood, at 1400 Austin Avenue.

The community is invited to attend the event and take photos with the company’s 13-foot tall motorized “Big Grocery Cart,” which will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.
