EARLY – The Early Lady Horns came up on the short end of a 25-17, 25-15, 25-13 decision to Millsap Tuesday in District 8-3A volleyball action.

The Lady Horns (12-14, 2-4) received five kills from Taylor Summers, four each from Carrigan Norris and Hadalee Saunders, and one from Jordan Simmons.

Madison Torrez served three aces while Bethany Tomlinson registered 14 assists.

Defensively, Tomlinson led the way with seven digs trailed by Summers with five, Norris, Saunders and Grace LaRue with three each, and Gabby Leal and Mattyson Boswell with one apiece.

Saunders also recorded a pair of blocks.

Early will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Friday as it hosts Dublin.
