Lady Dragons tumble in three sets at Brock

BROCK – The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 1-4 in District 8-3A volleyball action Saturday with a straight-set loss to league front-runner Brock.

Bangs (11-9, 1-4) received four kills from Maggie Morales, three from Jaycee Miller and one apiece from Wipada Pakaew and Laynie Evans.

Neeley Bradley dished out 11 assists while Hadley King chipped in two and Evans added one.

Defensively, Jacee Miller led Bangs with 10 digs against Brock (16-10, 5-0) followed by King with eight, McKenzie Hughes with five, Bradley with three, Morales, Raylee Hutchins and Jadyn Miller with two each, and Pakaew, Evans, Joey Newton, Julianna Ethridge with one apiece.

The Lady Dragons will host Eastland at 6:30 pm. Tuesday.
