Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Sept. 24

  • On Thursday, September 23 at about 9:40 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley spoke by phone, a complainant with the Brookesmith Special Utilities District. This was in regards to theft. The complainant stated a suspect had a water hose hooked up to the main water line and using water without paying for it.
  • On Thursday, September 23 at about 11:50 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley arrived at the Security Mini Storage located at Waco St. in Brownwood. This was in regards to a theft. Langley spoke to a victim who stated four suspects had taken items from his storage unit without his consent.
  • On Thursday, September 23 at approximately 1:06 p.m. Deputy Scotty Burke met with the complainant on N. Hwy 279. This was in reference to a theft report and investigation. 
  • On Thursday, September 23 at 4 p.m. Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched a criminal mischief call, which could handle by public service. Contact was made with the complainant. The complainant advised her ex-boyfriend broke her window to her camper. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
  • On Thursday, September 23 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to Trickham St. This was in reference to a report of Terroristic Threat. Complainant advised her neighbor came to her residence and threatened her dogs. A report was made.
