The OYO Hotel at 515 East Commerce in Brownwood has closed temporarily, after receiving numerous citations of violation from the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department.  The hotel has been granted a time period to remediate the violations and re-apply for a permit to operate.  Successful inspections from the Health Department, the Fire Marshall, and the City of Brownwood building code inspectors will be required.

The OYO Hotel is scheduled to be on the agenda of the City of Brownwood Building and Standards Commission on October 21.  More information will be available at that time.
