Tommy Wayne White, age 59 of Zephyr passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, September 11, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Tommy was born Monday, March 19, 1962 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Wilburn and Andrea White. He attended school at Grand Prairie High School, where he was a member of the High School Rodeo Team. Tommy loved to ride bulls. A traumatic accident caused Tommy to lose the use of his legs and was forced to be in a wheelchair. Tommy was strong willed and had a fighting spirit, with braces on his legs and the use of crutches, Tommy was determined to walk at least one more time. He concurred that goal and walked the length of the rehab gym. Tommy loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, going camping, hunting and fishing.

Tommy is survived by his parents, Wilburn and Andrea White; sister Kimberly Kay Bennett; nephew Shaun Michael Bennett; great nieces, Amanda Michelle Bennett and Sadie Jane Bennett all of Zephyr, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Rosie White, and Leverett and Ruby Hays.

A Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, September 26th at Tommy’s Home, 7568 CR 259 Zephyr, Texas 76890. Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net.
