The Early Lady Horns suffered their first District 8-3A volleyball loss to Brock Tuesday night, 25-18, 25-12, 25-12.

Taylor Summers led Early with seven kills trailed by Jordan Simmons with four, Carrigan Norris with three, and Hadalee Saunders and Bethany Tomlinson with one apiece.

Norris and Grace LaRue both served two aces while Tomlinson and Saunders chipped in one each.

Tomlinson distributed 15 assists for the Early offense.

Defensively, Summers logged three digs followed by Norris and Mattyson Boswell both with two, and Simmons, Madison Torrez and Gabriella Leal with one apiece.

Norris recorded the lone block for the Lady Horns.

Early (11-11, 1-1) will be back in action at noon Saturday as it hosts Peaster.
