St. Mary’s Catholic Church Fall Festival Set for October 2

The annual Fall Festival of St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Catholic Church will take place on Saturday, October 2.  It will feature food booths, children’s games, bounce houses, train rides, the country store, various and sundry vendors, a cake walk, and the famous St. Mary’s Gorditas.

A live auction will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by the raffle drawing.  Raffle prizes include:

1st Prize: Two fishing kayaks with coolers, donated by Hydro-Tech Irrigation, Duckhorn Construction, Avalon Custom Homes, and Texas Farm Bureau Agents Misty Cozart and Hillari Keesee

2nd Prize:  Traeger Grill, donated by KANAR – RV Sales

3rd Prize:  Upright Deep Freezer

4th Prize:  $1000 Visa Gift Card, donated by La Botana Mexican Grill and Tequila Bar

5th Prize:  $1000 Visa Gift Card, donated by Alfredo and Alejandra Leon

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each from any member of St. Mary’s Church, or at the church office (1101 Booker St.), or on the day of the Festival.

If you would like more information about this year’s Fall Festival, or would like to be a vendor, contact event chair Meghan Mask at 337-781-7296, or the St. Mary’s office at 325-646-7455.

The Fall Festival will take place at the church, 1103 Main Street in Brownwood, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. October 2.
