Lisa Ann Otwell

Lisa Ann Otwell, 50, of Coleman, died Friday, August 27, 2021 at Coleman County Medical Center.

She was born Lisa Ann Bartholomew on July 16, 1971 in Eldorado, Texas to Betty Sue Jones Bartholomew and the Paul Isaac Bartholomew.  Lisa grew up in Sonora and graduated from high school there.  She then went on to cosmetology school in San Angelo to become a beautician.  On April 1, 1991, Lisa married Alan Kim Otwell in San Angelo.

Not only was Lisa a beautician, but she was a homemaker as well.  She enjoyed spending time with her boys as they were growing up.  One of her favorite past-times was going camping with her family.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Paul Isaac Bartholomew; two brothers, Marshall Gene Bartholomew, Damion Ray Bartholomew and a sister-in-law, Polly Bartholomew.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Kim Otwell of Coleman; her mother, Betty Anderson and husband, A.J., of Bangs; two sons, William Otwell and wife, Ashley, of Coleman, Douglas Otwell of Coleman; two sisters, Rebecca Johnson of Bangs, Dorothy Bartholomew of Coleman and a brother, Joe Bartholomew of Canada.  Also surviving are two grandsons, William Otwell, II and Ethan Otwell, both of Coleman; nephew, Chris of Bangs; niece, Priscilla, of Bangs and her good friend, Chip Baker of Bangs.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
