The Brownwood Claybird Club issued the following information regarding its grand opening on Aug. 28:

Join us for our official Grand Opening Celebration on August 28th with our Grand Opening NSCA Tournament! We will be having 3 Events: 100 Bird event on Prairie Course ($75) 100 Bird event on Canyon Course ($75) 50 Bird 5 Stand Event ($40).

Schedule: 8:00 am – Registration Begins 8:30 am – Ribbon Cutting with Chamber of Commerce 9:00 am – Shooting Starts 4:00 pm – Last Cards in.

Lunch will be provided for all Main Event entrants Door Prizes awarded all day! Cart Rental: $40 per two person cart. Must be reserved in advance. Opening Weekend Celebration: Following the tournament, all clays will be only $0.25! Discounted Clays continue through Sunday, so make sure you take advantage all weekend long!
