The Brownwood-Brown County Child Welfare Board is so pleased to have such wonderful community support.  The board members have been busy with several projects involving back to school.  Backpacks, shoes, and a goody bag were made available to children under the state care who have been placed with relatives. Free hair cuts were provided by Ranger Cosmetology School.  The board thanks Ranger College, Hometown Spa and Salon (backpacks), Brown Co. Young Professionals (Kicks for Kids), Rivercrest Hospital, Chick fil A, Dairy Queen, Smile Doctors, Texas Tech, The Ark (goody bags).

Need boxes of school supplies were provided to all area schools with supplies donated by local businesses and individuals.  Many thanks to the sponsors:  Lil Cactus Boutique, Taviner and Company, Performance Pipe, AccelHealth, Center for Life Resources, Hometown Spa and Salon, Rivercrest Hospital, Heritage Funeral Home, DanHil Containers, Brown County 4H Club, Citizens National Bank, Brown County Young Professionals, Texas America Safety Company, Carter Home Health – Andrea Lee.

The Board wishes to thank Home Depot, 3M, Brownwood Women’s Club, Kiwanis Club of Brownwood, and Walmart for monetary donations.

It truly takes a village to provide for all of our precious children.
