Funeral services for Lily Ann Caballero, age 32, of Bangs, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2021, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Bangs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

On August 22, 2021, Lily went on to join the Lord after a short battle with COVID. She was a great nurse, daughter, sister, niece, and friend to many. Lily was born on October 12, 1988, to Esther Losoya in Brownwood, Texas. She was a 2007 graduate of Bangs High School. Lily went on to go to nursing school at Ranger college and fulfilled a long-time dream of becoming a nurse when she graduated in 2013. For eight short years Lily was able to do what she loved. At her time of passing, she was in school trying to become an RN. She enjoyed staying home, doing arts and crafts, and visiting friends. Her faith in Christ was strong and our hearts are broken, but we are reassured we will be reunited with her one day.

Lily is survived by her mother Esther Losoya, father Lawrence York, sisters Rosemary and RosaLinda Caballero, aunts and uncles Israel Jr and wife Theresa Losoya, Victor and Gloria Losoya, and Linda and Juan Perez, cousin Kristin Losoya, and nephews Noah Pin, Adrian Collins, and Luke Caballero.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Maria and Nicholas Sanchez.

Condolences, memories, and tributes can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
