BHS Class of 1970 reunion set for Sept. 17-18

The Brownwood High School class of 1970 will hold its 50th reunion September 17-18, 2021.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17

6:30 PM     Meet at the Pavilion at Festival Park behind Gordon Wood Stadium

7:30 PM     Football game against Burney

                    Ticket  $7.00 — may be purchased at the gate or by including in your check mailed in advance for cost of reunion.

                    If included in check, Jerry Sims will have your ticket at the Pavilion.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

8:30 AM     Tour of BHS to see updated facility after coffee, juice, and donuts.

                    We will be placing a plaque on the tree that we planted previously. For those interested, we can attend the Brown County Museum of History at

                    212 N. Broadway in downtown Brownwood.

5:45 PM     Buffet Dinner at Brownwood Country Club

                    Menu:  Steak and chicken with vegetables, salad, dessert and drink. There will be a cash bar.

                    Cost  $25.00 per person

                    Included in cost, each couple or unaccompanied attendee will receive a disc of all the pictures taken at the reunion by our photographer.

                    We will have a DJ spinning some of our music after the meal, and dancing will be allowed for those who still can!

A list of hotels and motels will be available by request for those attending the reunion. Just RSVP and ask for list to be sent to you by either mail, text, or email.
