VERIBEST – The Early Lady Horns garnered a fourth-place finish at the Veribest tournament over the weekend, winning four of six matches.

In Saturday action, Early began the day with a victory over the San Angelo Central JV before falling to host Veribest for the second time this week. Then, in the third-place game, Early fell to San Angelo Cornerstone Christian, which will host the Lady Horns this coming Friday.

In opening day tournament action on Friday, the Lady Horns knocked off Paint Rock (25-14, 25-11), San Angelo TLCA (25-16, 23-25, 25-19) and Sterling City (25-20, 25-21).

Early (4-3) will be back in action Tuesday in a dual match at Water Valley that also includes Abilene Christian.
