Jesse Aguilar

Jesse Aguilar, age 88, of Bangs went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Graveside Services for Jesse will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the Bangs Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie White officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Jesse was born on February 28, 1933, to Guadalupe and Alicia (DeLeon) Aguilar in Edna, Texas. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Doris (LaRue) Aguilar, in 1977. Jesse was a farmer for many years.

He was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs. Jesse had a gentle, quiet spirit and loved the Lord.

Jesse is survived by one brother, Lupe Aguilar and wife Lillian of Victoria; two sisters, Dolores Mireles and husband Dino of Comanche, Ramona Rodriguez and husband Victor of Mullin; and close friend of the family, Janice Sandoval. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Aguilar; his parents, Guadalupe and Alicia Aguilar; three brothers, Eliseo Aguilar, Severo Aguilar, and Raymond Aguilar Sr.
