Macks Evans Ivy, age 79, passed away with his brother and devoted niece, Tracie, by his side in Fort Worth on Thursday, July 22, 2021. He will be laid to rest beside his mother in Blanket Cemetery in Blanket, Texas

Macks was Born October 1. 1942 in McAlester, OK to Burk B. Ivy and Naomi A (Gleaton) Ivy and was reared in Brownwood. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1960. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Following a tour in Vietnam, he suffered severely disabling injuries during a training exercises October 31, 1963.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurora A. Cua.  Macks was a devout Christian, generous, trusting, kind and funny. He is missed terribly.

Survivors include his brother, James; nieces, Tracie A. Soderstrom (Ken) and Julie L. Randolph (Sam).

Graveside services were held August 2, 2021, at 2:00 pm in Blanket Cemetery with Rev. Benny Allcorn officiating.  Burial was under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel.
