The Brownwood Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace will hold a bunk bed building event from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31 at 1526 Early Blvd.

The goal for Sleep in Heavenly Peace is to build 10 beds, though they may build more, depending on the number of volunteers available. Sleep in Heavenly Peace has tools, so you don’t need to bring any, just have helping hands. Bring gloves if you would feel more comfortable handling unsanded lumber. We have eye and ear protection.

Child bedlessness is a national problem, and as a national nonprofit with chapters spread across the country, SHP has provided the solution.
