Brown County Commissioners were told Monday morning by County Emergency Management Chief, Darrell Johnston, to expect to see smoke on the Camp Bowie property between July 31st and August 6th.

The controlled burn, scheduled back in the Spring, could not be held.  The controlled burn will start as soon as this Saturday and continue until August 6.  Approximately 2,500 acres will be involved in the controlled burn.
