Johnny Sue Lusk, age 93, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, in De Leon, Texas

She was born on September 7, 1927, in Sidney, Texas, to Byron C. and Sudie Velma (Stailey) Lusk. She was a dedicated Christian and a member of Sidney Church of Christ. For thirty-nine years Johnny Sue worked for Southwestern Bell as an Audit Clerk.

She is survived by her cousins, Lee and Betty Lusk of Dublin, Dwight Lusk, Deborah Holden, Linda Kreig, Marie and Jim Sass, Tracy Lusk, Sherrie Ruddel, and Violet Light. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Lusk; and sister, Bobby Faye Lusk.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Lunch for the family will be at Sidney Church of Christ following the funeral services.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Glenn Newberry officiating. Burial will be in Pendergrass Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas. Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com

In Lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Sidney Church of Christ, P.O. Box 190, Sidney, Texas 76474; or Fosters Home for hildren, 1779 N. Graham Street, Stephenville, Texas 76401.
