Cary Dau Slaughter passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at his home in Brady, Texas at the age of 75. He was born on April 13, 1946, in Menard, Texas to Jessie Conway and Camilla Crump Slaughter. He was married to Linda Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, sons, Cody and Caleb Slaughter of Menard, Jason Hearn and Mikey Farris of Brady, daughters, Sheila Clobes of Montana, Carrie Slaughter and Maggie Slaughter Wand of San Antonio and Chelsea Scantlin of Brady, twenty-two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Cary is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 9, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
