Brown County Commissioner’s Court met Tuesday morning, July 6. County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly, presided over the meeting and all members were present. The meeting was only 15 minutes long with a short agenda to cover.

Citing continued rain and few wildfire calls, Commissioners took no action on the Burn Ban which means the Burn Ban remains off at this time in Brown County.

Commissioners also approved employees changes for a jailer position in the County Sheriff’s Department and an employee change in Precinct 2.

Commissioners approved bills for payment as presented by the County Auditor. The meeting adjourned at 9:16 am.

Commissioners took a brief break prior to holding a Public Workshop on the 21-22 County Budget.
