The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the American Red Cross on June 29, 2021.

The American Red Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States. Robyn Flores is the Executive Director of the Texas Big Country Chapter which oversees 31 counties including: Wichita Falls, Brownwood, Abilene, and San Angelo. The Big Country Chapter includes teams of staff and volunteers serving over 680,00 people. Robyn was joined by local board members Gene Deason and Bill Blagg.
