Rita Jean Jordan age 59 of Bangs, Texas formerly of Ohio passed from this life to her eternal heavenly home on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Bangs Nursing Home.

A memorial service for family will be planned for a later date.

She was born Rita Jean Calhoun on December 6, 1961 in Mansfield, Ohio to Charles Bill and Billie Jean Crose Calhoun.  Rita was raised in Mansfield, Ohio graduating from Mansfield, Ohio High School and attended North Central State College.  On March 16, 1980 Rita married Rickey Allen Jordan, Sr. and they celebrated many years of marriage, Rickey preceded Rita in death.  Rita was a member of the Baptist Church and by profession a truck driver employed until retirement with CSX Railroad in Ohio.

Survivors include 3 daughters – Cynthia Lynn & husband Jesus Delgadillo of Coleman, Texas, Rebecca & husband Tony Lynch of Indiana, Ruth & husband Aaron Burkey of Coleman, Texas; 2 sons – Rickey Allen Jordan, Jr. of Ohio, Daniel Lee Jordan of Coleman, Texas; sister – Sheila Lambert of Ohio; brother – Randy Crose of Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews; and 5 grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by brother Rusty Crose in 1991.
