The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Wednesday regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith:

Amber Scheree Sims pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Sims pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ernie Escamilla pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 8 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
