Sheffield’s 10U Glory took second place at The Hit Pit Tournament held at the Bert Massey Sports Complex over the weekend. Head Coach Amanda Sheffield said, “A champion is not measured by how many games or rings they win but rather how many times they get back up after being knocked down. I watched a team this weekend get knocked down several times and each time they got back up and kept coming. Several of our girls stepped up at different times with clutch plays. We never lost our composure and always responded with grit and heart. I am proud of our girls and how they lifted each other up.
