Bobby Reid Toon, age 79, of Lake Brownwood passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at home.

Graveside Services with Military Honors for Bobby will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with Bobby Machen officiating. No set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Bobby was born on June 7, 1941, to Uless “Dude” Boyd Toon and Maddie Mae (Reid) Toon in Cooper, Texas. Bobby married the love of his life, Patsy Johnson, on December 3, 1960, in California. He was a welder and truck driver in the oil and gas industry for many years. However, his true love was roping and being a cowboy. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working and even putting his family to work.

He is survived by his son, Lance Toon and wife Vicki of Lake Proctor, and his daughter, Stacy Toon of Eula; 7 grandchildren: Justin, Christopher, Chad, Cara, Michael, Anna, and Mason; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Toon; his parents, “Dude” and Maddie Toon; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and his cousin, who was more like a brother, Danny Iglehart.

Online condolences may be made at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
