BMS choirs earn high ratings at UIL concert and sight reading contest

BMS Boy’s Choir members

The Brownwood Middle School (BMS) Boy’s and Girl’s choirs successfully performed at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest in Mineral Wells on Tuesday, March 30.

The Girl’s Choir received the scores of a “2” on stage and a “1” in sight reading. The Boy’s Choir received the highest score possible, a “1” on stage and a “1” in sight reading, earning them a UIL Sweepstakes trophy.

BMS Girl’s Choir members include: Haylee Adkins, Aaliyah Basio, Angelina Basio, Kailee Bessent, Addison Bennett, Kaitlyn Bond, Cheyenne Buffington, Baylee Brown, Adan Casey, Micayla Cardoza, Makinzey Cook, Erickia Dobbins, Braelyn Espinoza, Sara Field, Ihana Figueroa, Araya Gonzales, Aqua Garcia, Talasia Green, Maricella Gutierrez, Aniah Hines, Emery Homes, Trinity Johnson, Leila Keel, Avilene Kuhn, Addison Lee, Shayla Leonard, Khloee Long, Hannah Luker, Yezennia Lugo, Emory May, Gabriella Mata, Kayla McBride, Rachel Miller, Emily Ochoa, Desaraie Ortega, Racey Pinkston, Chloe Pringle, De’Andra Randle, Janelli Rivera, Liliana Rios, Railei Rust, Elyanna Sanchez, Ariana Torrez, Alivia Waller, Alana Watson, and Gracelyn Vallecillo.

BMS Boy’s Choir members include: Langston Barnes, Ian Borgia, Jonathan Bush, Alden Cecil, Jack Field, Stephon Hawthorne, Carter Montez, Chance Pinkney White, Colton Stewart, and Zakry Wallace.

“Congratulations to the BMS Boy’s and Girl’s choirs,” stated BMS Choir director, Kristi Wied. “Great job!”
